2016年4月7-11日，我室戴世勋研究员等一行13人参加了在上海国际会议中心举行的第24届国际玻璃大会（ICG），在本次会议上，我室戴世勋研究员作了题为《Fabrication and characterization of novel multi-material chalcogenide glass fiber with high numerical apertures》的邀请报告，王训四研究员作了题为《Mid-infrared hollow-core Bragg fiber based on novel extrusion》口头报告，许银生副研究员作题为《Effect of Electric Field on the Ag Photo-dissolution in As₂S₃ Film》，赵哲明博士研究生作题为《Ge-As-Se-Te suspended-core fiber for the middle infrared》口头报告，唐俊州硕士研究生作题为《As₂S₃ step index fiber and the 1-5 um  supercontinuum generation》口头报告，欧洪亚硕士研究生作题为《Fabrication and characterization of novel high nonlinear Ge-Sb-Se chalcogenide glass fiber with high NA》口头报告，张兴迪硕士研究生作题为《Fabrication of Tm³⁺-doped Microsphere Resonators based on 75GeS₂-15Ga₂S₃-10CsI Chalcogenide Glass》口头报告，黄益聪硕士研究生作题为《Glass formation, physical and optical properties of chalcogenide glasses in novel ternary Ge-Sn-S system》，李志开硕士研究生作题为《Local structure investigation and fluorescence properties of Er³⁺-doped Ge-Ga-Se glasses and glass-ceramics》口头报告，林丽硕士研究生作题为《Photosensitivity of magnetron co-sputtering deposited Ge-Sb-Se chalcogenide films》口头报告，与会期间，我室参会人员积极与国内外专家进行了广泛交流，对硫系玻璃光纤制备及应用等方面进行了探讨。

   国际玻璃大会是国际玻璃界的一次盛会，全世界的玻璃科技工作者将在大会上交流最新研究成果并研讨玻璃发展趋势。大会每三年举行一次，本次会议是时隔21年后第二次在中国举办。本次会议共有来自33个国家的800多名代表参加。
