科研工作主要集中于特种玻璃材料、红外光纤及其器件化研究等方面,包括红外玻璃材料、红外特种光纤、基于硫系玻璃的红外光学系统等。主持国家重点研发计划课题1项、国家自科基金3项、省重大课题1项、公司横向课题等科研项目10余项。以第一/通讯作者在在Opt. Lett、Opt. Express、J. Lightwave Technol.、J. Mater. Chem. C、Ceram. Int.等SCI期刊发表系列论文,获得授权国家发明专利10件。
